A little bit of good news!

Hi lovelies!

I just wanted to share a small piece of good news with you all!

Grazia (yes, the magazine) were having a nail art celebration called the Nailympics (nail art inspired by the Olympics, how clever), and they invited readers to send in their work, so I did! Imagine my surprise when I found out that they had awarded me a 'gold' medal for my work! Each category (gold, silver and bronze) had two nail art photos attached to it and was featured in their magazine!

I've included a little snap below for you all to see. I'm quite chuffed about it! It isn't every day that your name (and digits) appear in a magazine!

My moment of fame!

Specials thanks to my beautiful blogger friends, the lovely Ingrid (from In Glossy Beauty) and gorgeous Raylene (from 1 Skin Solution) for being the ones to tell me about it! I'd hunted for the magazine on Monday but couldn't find it anywhere! I was actually at a work function on Tuesday until late and only saw their messages on my way home, so I just had to make a stop at the nearest service station to see if I could find a copy. Thank you, ladies!

My nail art was also featured on the Nicole by OPI Facebook page, so I'm really feeling the love! It is such a thrill to see your work in public and in print!

As a blogger, this was pretty much the highlight of my week and gave me a serious case of the warm and fuzzies. :)
