Product Review: Clinique Long Last Lipstick in Berry Intense & High Impact Lip Colour SPF15 in Coral Crush.

Hi lovelies!

Apologies for the lack of posts over the past few days, work has been really busy and I was also away over the weekend! I've been absolutely tuckered out!

L-R: Clinique Long Last Lipstick in Berry Intense & High Impact Lip Colour SPF15 in Coral Crush.

I've got a new post to share today, however, on two gorgeous lipsticks from Clinique. One is the Long Last Lipstick in Berry Intense (more shades here) and the other is the High Impact Lip Colour with SPF15 in Coral Crush (more shades here).

Read more after the jump!

L-R: Clinique High Impact Lip Colour SPF15 in Coral Crush & Long Last Lipstick in Berry Intense.

I love the packaging of the lipsticks; the heavy, silver casing is sturdy, yet luxurious, and I love that it locks together securely as it means there is less likelihood of it accidentally coming apart in your handbag!

Clinique Long Last Lipstick in Berry Intense & High Impact Lip Colour SPF15 in Coral Crush.

The Long Last Lipstick in Berry Intense is a creamy-matte formula, which is a favourite of mine simply because I have pretty pouty lips, and too much gloss/shine can sometimes look a bit too much. Don't let the word 'matte' fool you into thinking it has a dry look; quite the opposite as it lends my lips a subtle shine that's very flattering. This shade is perfect for when I'm after long lasting colour that I don't have to touch up often. Moisturising and comfortable on the lips, I can usually get about 4-6 hours out of it with regular eating and drinking without having to touch up, quite a feat for someone who often finds her lipstick disappearing! This has been a staple in my work handbag since I received it!

The High Impact Lip Colour in Coral Crush is a soft, wearable orange, another long wearing formula that also provides lips with SPF15 sun protection. When I first saw this, it reminded me of the previous, limited edition, Runway Coral online-exclusive (now available as part of the full collection), except in a softer, more wearable shade. I do find that Coral Crush isn't quite as comfortable and easy to wear as Berry Intense is, but it's still a very comfortable lipstick to wear. This lipstick can accentuate dry skin, so I find I have to prep my lips carefully before wearing it, but it's the perfect lipstick for when you want a pop of subtle colour.

Coral Crush (left) & Berry Intense (right).

Each lipstick retails for $36, and is available from the Clinique website, Mecca Cosmetica, Myer, David Jones and selected pharmacies. The best part is, it's currently gift with purchase (GWP) time at Myer! If you spend $60 and over, you get to take home one of these gorgeous little bags full of travel-sized goodies! I love the rinse-off foaming cleanser and mini-Chubby Stick (I have eight shades plus a Chubby Stick Intense, reviews to come soon), so I'm really tempted to get this! Get in quick, as it ends this Sunday, the 18th of August!

What do you think, lovelies? Do you love the look of these lipsticks? Will you be getting the Clinique GWP?

Much love,
MM.

  2. These clinique lip products sound great, especially that berry one! I don't know that anything I wear last 6 hours while eating. Great GWP too sadly we don't have myers here.
