I'm a bit (okay, a LOT) late with this one, but a lot of the subscription boxes arrived at the same time and I didn't want to flood you all with review posts! Then I was a bit under the weather so this got a bit delayed...still, better late than never, right?
On to what I received in my September LHI box, which was chock-full of amazing goodies, including:
WOTNOT Organic Facial Wipes (deluxe sample)
Mary Kay Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover (deluxe sample)
L'Oreal Base Magique Primer (deluxe sample)
L'Oreal Nude Magique BB Cream (sachet)
MONTEIL Le Nouveau Parfum (deluxe sample)
GKMBJ Soothing and Moisturising Shampoo and Conditioner (deluxe sample)
Lust Have It Pencil Brush (full sized)
BAJI Kakadu Plum Face Scrub (full sized)
Bonus Tom Organic tampons (deluxe sample)
There was also a Karpati Bio-Cellulose Sensitive Mask (deluxe sample)
If you're thinking that's a lot of stuff, that's exactly what I thought! There was also a sneak peek teaser of an upcoming Inika product in the next box...we all know how much I love mineral makeup, and Inika, so I'm pretty excited for that! I won't give too much away so as not to spoil it for anyone, but I will say it is a makeup product and I assure you that you'll love it!
On to photos, before I share my thoughts...

So what did I think of this month's box? I really like it, as there are many products in there that I will get good use out of.
I've really been into cloth face masks lately, and though I'm a bit slack about using them as often as I should, I'm happy to receive one from a new brand. I'm glad it's for sensitive skin as it's less likely to cause irritation. While I don't generally use face wipes to remove my makeup, I do like them for swatching photos for the blog so I'll be glad to try something new. I've been curious about WOTNOT for a while so if they're good, I'll probably buy a full sized pack to take with me on my upcoming trip to Bali...I would've liked to see a full sized pack instead of this sample pack, but I can live with it. :)
I was super excited to see the Mary Kay makeup remover as I love double phase removers, Lancome Bi-Facil being my favourite ever! It will be good to see how this compares. I've already fallen in love with the Monteil perfume sample, I NEED TO BUY THIS! I've never heard of Monteil before, so that's proof that sample box subscriptions work well! I'm also excited to try the GKMBJ shampoo and conditioner as I loved the hair mask we received in a previous box...happy to switch my hair care over if these work well.
I've already tried the Base Magique primer and it was a bit on the drier side for me, so I've passed it on to someone else. The Nude Magique BB cream is my favourite, I'm on my third tube of this! It will be a while before I try the BAJI exfoliant as I'm still using my favourite Dermalogica Microfoliant, but Kakadu Plum makes it sound delicious. Last but not least, a new brush would never go astray and I also don't mind the tampons as these are essentials that always come in handy!
Phew, that was quite a bit to get through! What did you think of the contents of this box, lovelies?
Don't forget, if you'd like to sign up to a box, you can get $5 off your first box by entering code MAIDEN at checkout!
Much love,
MM.

wishing I got the BB cream sample, I got the foundation one instead. everything else was the same in my box, I'm loving all face masks at the moment, and am yet to try either of these but I can't wait! I thought it was a great box, a little bit {or a lot!} of everything to try.. can't wait for this months box x
ReplyDeleteDid the foundation sample suit you, Loz? It's so hard to get foundation samples right! I agree, lots of little goodies to try in this box, it's a Jack of All Trades! :)
DeleteWow that's a lot of stuff in there!
ReplyDeleteHaha, there certainly is!
DeleteI also LOVED my box this month. There were lots of products that I haven't tried before so I was thrilled with it. We got the same one and I know that you will love the WOTNOT wipes as they are my favourite makeup wipe. They are so soft and are fragrance free so won't irritate your skin. I have put the sample pack in my handbag for when I head into the cosmetic aisles and swatch. Looking forward to comparing notes x
ReplyDeleteI agree, Kate! And that's a fantastic idea (re the makeup wipes)!
DeleteGosh this looks like terrific value hon :-) And thanks for the code - I'm tempted to sign up...now!
ReplyDeleteOh and by the way, your blog is such a delight to read EVERY SINGLE TIME, I've nominated you for a Versatile Blogger Award :-)
