Welcome to Part 2 of my Love Thy Polish swatchathon! You can find the link to Part 1 here, where I showed you Pink Sands and Spot the Pink. In this post, I'm going to introduce you to Fauxreal Fuschia (and yes, that's the name, I didn't spell that wrongly) and the gorgeous Halo!
Fauxreal Fuschia is a deep, fuchsia jelly polish with suspended black glitter. From the Speckled n' Freckled Collection, it looks a little muddy in the bottle, but translates to a gorgeous, sexy shade on the nails. It's a little sheer, so you could wear it over a deeper shade for full opacity, or layer 3 thin coats as I did for the photos below. Like all the others, I found this to be a dream to apply, the brush was extremely manoeuvrable and applied the polish well.

Fauxreal Fuschia reminds me of the pitahaya, or dragon fruit, which my dad loves eating. I've included a photo below, can you see the resemblance? :)

Next up, is my personal favourite of the lot...a unique, holographic gold polish called Halo! I may have squealed when I saw this shade, and no wonder, as it shifts colours depending on the lighting, ranging from a deep, antique gold to a gorgeous glitter ball in direct sunlight! I'm a little obsessed with this shade and received lots of compliments wearing it.
I could've gotten away with 2 coats for this, but I chose to wear 3 thin coats for added impact.

Fauxreal Fuschia retails for $6.50 for an 8 ml bottle or $9.50 for a 12 ml bottle, while Halo retails for $8.50 for an 8 ml bottle or $12 for a 12 ml bottle. You can visit the Love Thy Polish Facebook page for more information, and purchase directly from the website (and yes, they offer worldwide shipping). Don't forget to visit Part 1, in case you missed it!
Which one of these do you love the most, lovelies? Are you as obsessed with Halo as I am?
Much love,
MM.

I love love love fauxreal fuschia, it's unlike any other polish I have seen!! (I'm such a sucker for a good fuschia polish)....this is the first I've heard of this brand, but they sound great!
ReplyDeleteIt really is quite unique, you have to have a look! :)
DeleteI love the fuschia colour. I really wish that I had more time to do my nails but by the time my little one goes to bed I'm too exhausted to do them :(
ReplyDeleteAw, I know the feeling. Honestly, investing in a quick dry top coat works wonders! I find doing my nails therapeutic and it's great because I won't have to sit around and wait for it to dry. I can literally do my nails in ten mins and go straight to bed!
DeleteI do like the Halo - looks different with angles of showing. Completely different.
ReplyDeleteWhen the Fuschia picture came up I also thought dragon fruit and blow me down, after it you show a picture of the fruit. I will have to check out their site now because am loving these :-)
Haha, great minds think alike, Mandy! Happy shopping! xx
DeleteI was going to say Dragonfruit too! I love both of these polishes :)
ReplyDeleteLooks pretty dope :)
