Lush Cosmetics | A review of Yummy Mummy Shower Gel and Body Conditioner and Love You Mum Soap.

Hi lovelies,

The lovely people over at Lush Cosmetics sent me a gorgeous pack a couple of weeks ago, containing several goodies from the limited edition Mother's Day Range. I received the Yummy Mummy Shower Gel and Body Conditioner, Love You Mum Soap, Mother Superior Bubbleroon and Rose Bombshell Bath Bomb.

Lush Cosmetics Goodies.
Aren't they simply gorgeous? What I love about Lush is the products aren't just cute, they are also freshly made by hand, ethically conscious, smell amazing and have the cutest names! I think that's a fair few reasons to love Lush!

Keep reading after the jump!

Rose Bombshell Bath Bomb.
Mother Superior Bubbleroon.
I haven't been able to use either the Rose Bombshell Bath Bomb or the Mother Superior Bubbleroon, as I don't have a bath, but I plan on saving them for the next time I have access to a bathtub! Rose Bombshell does have a lovely, rose scent to it and Mother Superior is just too cute! Rose Bombshell is also meant to soften skin in the tub, so I'm really looking forward to trying this at some point.

Love You Mum Soap.
Love You Mum is actually really large, it's probably slightly larger than palm sized! This soap smells amazing - it's a little sticky even before you use it, so you will have to be careful with storage options, but it smells divine and doesn't dry your skin out after using it. This floral soap is made with jasmine, mimosa and bergamot oil, and I can assure you it doesn't smell sickly floral at all, but has a lovely depth to it that lingers faintly on the skin after use.

Yummy Mummy Shower Gel.
Oh my, I can't tell you how much I loved the Yummy Mummy Shower Gel and Body Conditioner! The shower gel is exactly the same colour it appears in the bottle, a thick, purple creme. It lathers beautifully on its own, though I do love using it with a shower puff. The scent is simply divine, a deep, mysterious lilac scent that isn't at all innocent by any means! It's definitely sexy more than granny, if that's what lilac calls to mind.

Yummy Mummy Body Conditioner.

The matching body conditioner is also gorgeous, you scoop out a little of the caramel coloured creme and smooth it over your skin, before washing it off. I like that it didn't leave my shower floor feeling slippery, plus it did a good job of moisturising my skin. If you have excessively dry skin, you might need something a little heavier, but this performed well enough for my normal skin, leaving a subtle scent lingering even after towelling off, as well as saved me some precious time in my dressing routine!

Have you tried any of these, lovelies? If I had to recommend anything, I would pick the Yummy Mummy shower gel and conditioner, they are amazing and work so well together. Shop the limited edition range online here or at Lush Stores, but be quick before they sell out!

Much love,
MM.

  1. I was lucky enough to receive this Mother's Day pack too and loved the products! My favourites were the Yummy Mummy shower gel and the Rose Bombshell bath bomb. Lush make the most deliciously fragranced products! :)
