Eye of Horus Babylon Brown Liquid Define and Nile Dual Brow Perfect Review.

Hi lovelies,

I apologise for being a bit quiet on the blog over the past couple of weeks. A friend of mine got married interstate and so a few of us made the trip out, it was such a gorgeous wedding!

Anyhow, I wanted to share a gorgeous parcel I received from one of my favourite beauty brands, Eye of Horus Cosmetics (you can read my review of their eye pencils here). They sent me a pack containing two beautiful necklaces, as well as two of their recently released products; the Babylon Brown liquid define (liquid eyeliner) and the Nile Dual Brow Perfect (dark brown pencil and brow gel).

Now, if you know me at all, you'll know that I never leave home without having my brows done and eyeliner on. I also have an obsession with liquid liner, so I was really excited to try these!

Before we talk about the actual products, let's have a quick look at the packaging. Both pens come in slimline cardboard boxes which are elegant and sophisticated. I think they make beautiful presents, both for yourself and for others!

Now, let's talk about the brown liquid liner first. As I mentioned above, I adore a good black liquid liner, but I sometimes want something that's a little less stark. I found this to be a good, opaque brown that shows up quite well on my skin, and more importantly, doesn't make me look tired, as some shades can do. The tip is really fine and has enough give to allow flexibility of movement, but retains enough stiffness that it's easy to draw with. Overall, a big thumbs up from me! I've included swatches further below.

So what did I think of the Nile Dual Brow Perfect? I really liked it! One side houses a triangular brow pencil which makes it easy to fill in your brows, with a tapered end that's perfect for the arch and tail of the brow, while the broader end is great for filling in the inner brows. The pencil is quite soft and blends easily into the hairs, after which I usually use a spoolie to brush through and even it out. I then finish with the other end of the Nile Dual Brow Perfect, which houses a soft, slightly tinted brow gel to set and hold my finished brows.

One last thing, the accessories are gorgeous! Here's a snap of me wearing one of the crystal necklaces, I believe this isn't currently available for sale on the website, but they do have some other beautiful products so do take a look! Apologies for the poor quality, the selfie was taken at night in my bathroom, so the lighting isn't the best.

What do you think of these products, lovelies? Do you like the sound of these? Are you as obsessed with liquid liners and brow products as I am?

If you're keen to have a try of these, you can buy these directly from the EOH website (there's also a list of stockists if you'd prefer to have a look in person before purchasing)! The Dual Brow Perfect retails for $28 and is available in three shades (ash blonde, medium brown and dark brown) while the Liquid Define retails for $30 and is also available in black.

Happy shopping, and let me know if you get anything!

Much love,
MM.
